Guides & Maps on Andalusia

The laid-back province of Huelva situated in Andalucía boasts a unique feel with many architectural styles making it a popular tourist destination.

It has many pretty plazas, absorbing historical monuments and endless seafood restaurants.

The most distinctive place in the province is the Doñana reserve that is one of Europe's very best wetlands and home to the endangered lynx and the rare Spanish Imperial Eagle.

The Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche natural park, encompassing wooded valleys punctuated by rocky cliffs and high peaks and rich in wild life, is another attraction.

The heritage of Huelva encompasses a medley of archeological sites, religious architecture, natural marvels like the marshes of Odiel and outstanding monuments such as that of Christopher Columbus.

A Trail in the foot steps of the legendary Christopher Columbus will take you to Monasterio de Santa María de la Rábida, Palos de la Frontera and Convento de Santa which take you through an amazing jigsaw puzzle of this historical voyage.
