Salou
One of the most popular tourist centres on the Costa Daurada has been inviting
visitors to stay here for many years.
Very popular, and for good reason, as it has tourist attractions, surrounding
countryside to visit and beautiful sandy beaches with clear waters.
Visit Universal's Port Aventura theme park, one of the largest in Spain, to
experience the rollercoaster rides.
Down at the beach, beside lying in the sun there are water sports to enjoy,
whilst in town you can visit attractions such as the Torre Vella and the tower
of Cal Bonet, and wander around the Paseo de Les Palmeres, the main street..
Dusk starts off the bubbly nightlife in Salou's plentiful bars and discotheques,
and the chance to try the local cuisine, mainly based on fish and shellfish
straight from the nets, all washed down by the finest Spanish red wine of Priorat.
