The Catalonia region has with high mountain ranges,
such as the Pyrenees, the inactive volcano of Garrotxa,
and the peculiar Montserrat Mountain.
Catalonia has a unique culture with a strong influence
of Mediterranean tradition. Catalonian and Castilian
are the commonly spoken languages in Catalonia. On December
22, 1979, Catalonia was officially recognized as a nationality
by the Spanish government.
Catalonia's long tradition of international commerce
helped it to shape as one of the most cosmopolitan places
in Spain and vert popular with tourists as a holiday
destination.
As well as an array of water sports in the coastal
resorts it's not all holiday beaches, there are other
enchanting places to visit, historical attractions,
and a vast list of modern attractions.
